I just got back from Dallas and walking through the Arboretum is truly breathtaking this time of year. Between the cherry trees, tulips and amazing arts and crafts featured at Artscape, I just want to be around objects that are nature inspired.

I'm Insane For White!

Our pear trees have exploded here in Tennessee. This is a picture taken out my front door and the sight to me is breathtaking. There is something about a room in white with pops of color, like blue sky and green trees, that is really refreshing like spring.

I'm Insane For Ceramic Accessories!

I'm leaving for Dallas tomorrow to attend Artscape at the Arboretum and I hope to bring back some amazing pieces. There is nothing like unusual handcrafted ceramics to make a beautiful statement.

Look What I Found At Goodwill!

I'm Insane For Interesting Staircases

When we bought our house we unfortunately inherited ugly beige carpet on the staircase. It is the first impression when walking into the house and it was not a good one. However, on moving day, the movers took care of that by destroying it even more. We pulled it up and with the help of my father in law, he and my husband trimmed out each stair with molding and painted it black and white. What a difference!

 The possibilities are endless what can be done and I think it's an opportunity to put your personality into your space.
