The weekend started bright and early Friday morning standing in line freezing for an estate sale in a senior community. They would only let 40 people in at one time and Brandy and I were #33 and 34. When the door opened I was shocked. We had heard rumors of what was inside because this was Phase 2 of the sale, but nothing prepared me for the country of Japan vomiting everything it had into this woman's home. Asian overload to say the least. The place was so packed in with "items" and 40 people that I couldn't get a good picture of the chaos.
Then our friend Kathy, who bailed out of the estate sale line, said she was going to a clothing sale at Gen Sohr's home who is also a Nashville blogger. Her home and clothing did not disappoint, not to mention she was the nicest person ever. If you haven't seen her blog, check it out because she is truly talented and adorable.
Saturday was Flea Market day and treasures were everywhere:
I should have bought these tables! |
2 lamps went home and will be seen later.
Next weekend is Phase 3 of the "oriental" estate sale and my mother and sister in law will be in town so I will try and get pics. Until then enjoy some Asian ininfluenced rooms:
A little Asian goes a long way :) I had so much fun! Can't wait for this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the room with the big white coffee table and the grey couch. I want that armoire!!
